The University Gospel Choir of the Year (UGCY) competition is back, and this year’s finals promise to be bigger and better than ever! On Saturday, March 22nd, 2025, join us at Oasis House, Croydon, for an incredible evening of gospel music, celebration, and community.

We’re thrilled to introduce the 10 choirs that will take the stage and compete for the prestigious title of UGCY 2025 champions. Each of these choirs has demonstrated exceptional talent, passion, and dedication, and we can’t wait to see them perform!

BIMM London Gospel Choir – BIMM London

BIMM London Gospel Choir combines musical talent and gospel heritage to create electrifying performances. Their passion for music resonates through every note.

Canterbury Christ Church Gospel Choir – Canterbury Christ Church University

Our choir first started in 2005 and since then has become a vital part of our university community. With a mix of soulful melodies and spirited performances, the choir uplifts and inspires through every note.

Keele University Gospel Choir (KUGC) – Keele University

Kent Gospel Choir – University of Kent

Kings College Gospel Choir – King’s College London

Portsmouth Gospel Choir – University of Portsmouth

Revival Gospel Choir – University of Leicester

The Revival Gospel Choir of the University of Leicester is renowned for their dynamic performances and heartfelt harmonies. Committed to excellence, they inspire audiences with their passion for gospel music.

University of Birmingham Gospel Choir (UOB Gospel Choir) – University of Birmingham

Warwick Gospel Choir – University of Warwick
